FC BAYERN MUNICH home shirt with classic Opel sponsor from 1995/1997 seasons worn during time when The Bavarians players frequently appeared in the gossip pages of the press rather than the sports pages, resulting in the nickname FC Hollywood. Franz Beckenbauer briefly returned at the end of the 95/96 season as caretaker coach and led his team to victory in the UEFA Cup. For the 96/97 season Giovanni Trapattoni returned to win Bundesliga championship.
