Cup Final (16 May 1987) at Wembley when The Sky Blues led by legendary managers duo George Curtis and John Sillett won their first and only major trophy, when they beat Tottenham Hotspur 3–2 in front of a crowd of 96,000. Wembley 87 Final is regarded as one of the greatest finals in the history of the competition, with BBC commentator John Motson calling it "the finest Cup Final I've had the pleasure of commentating on".
