Extremely rare limited edition GLENTORAN FC away Long Sleeved shirt with 'Detroit Cougars 1967-2017' details on the collar and BetMcLean sponsor from 2016/2017 season to mark special year for The Glens as they celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the historic exploits of the Detroit Cougars squad both at home and in the USA.

Fifty years ago the Glentoran team played in the United States as Detroit Cougars in the United Soccer Association, a precursor of the NASL. To mark this anniversary shirt has a special design with cougar motif and only 134 (!) limited edition shirts was sold to supporters (In that season Glentoran celebrated 134th birthday). Jersey has names of Cougars legends (John Kennedy, Sam Kydd, Harry Creighton, Billy McKeag, Roy Borne, Tommy Jackson, Billy McCullough, Walter Bruce, Arthur Stewart, Billy Sinclair, Trevor Thompson, Jim Weatherup, John Colrain (player-manager), Alan McNeill, Eric Ross, Danny Trainor, Johnny Johnston, Tommy Morrow) and loyal supporters incorporated in design.
