2000-02 Westmeath GAA (An Iarmhí) Player Issue Training Jersey
Size M
Extremely rare WESTMEATH GAA training Player Issue shirt with Old Crest and unique design made by Umbro from 2000/2002 seasons worn during 2001 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship when The Lake County led by manager Luke Dempsey went on a journey through an unprecedented nine games, but lost out in a quarter-final replay. Kit was also used when An Iarmhí won 2000 All-Ireland Under-21 B Hurling title, Leinster Under-21 & Minor Football Championships and 2000–01 National Football League Division 2.
Shirt has all replica differences. Fully embroidered county crest and 'Westmeath' detail below. Umbro logos are also fully embroidered. Felt material 'Westmeath' motif on upper back. Kit worn by the squad and staff. Design not commercially available. Equipment made by Umbro in GAA is unusual and was most famously worn by legendary Bainisteoir Páidí Ó Sé when he led The Lake County to 2004 Leinster Senior Football Championship Final and their first ever Leinster SFC title!
Original 25 years old jersey, not another retro!
